Key tips – Caring for your Bedding 

  • Prior to use – On purchase always fluff up your feather and down duvets. Do this by shaking the duvet for a few minutes.
  • General Care
    • Change the position of your duvet within the duvet cover with each duvet cover change.
    • To keep fillings evenly dispersed to ensure there are no cold spots, duvets should be plumped up by shaking regularly.
    • Duvets should be plumped up by shaking regularly.
    • Regularly airing your duvet will keep it fresh.
  • Always read the care label instructions prior to washing.
  • All our naturally-filled feather and down duvets are machine washable at 40°C in a large capacity machine.
  • All our naturally-filled wool duvets are machine washable at 30°C in a large capacity machine.
  • Non-biological detergent is recommended.
  • Do not tumble dry.
  • Make sure that your duvet is 100% dry before using to avoid clumping or ruining the filling.
  • We would recommend professional laundering.
  • Always store your freshly cleaned duvet in a breathable storage bag.
  • You should not store your duvet in a plastic bag.
  • After long periods of storage, you should shake your duvet to allow the duvet to re-loft to its original condition.
  • It’s a good habit to always air your bed in the morning
  • Keep your bed fresh by pulling back the duvet each morning to let your bed air before you make it. This allows the fibres to breathe and allows moisture to evaporate.
  • Use this as a chance to shake out your duvet to redistribute and puff up the filling.
  • Our feather and down duvets have a boxed construction, where the filling is held in each box allows an even distribution and prevents cold spots.
  • Always shake your natural duvet from the side, and not the bottom, to prevent the filling from moving between boxes.

Caring for your Bedding: Down, Feather and Wool Pillows

  • Prior to use – Upon removal from your packaging, you should give your pillow a few good shakes from end to end and side to side for a few minutes.
  • We recommend you use a natural pillow protector and wash it frequently (once a week would be advisable) in hot water. This cover will help to protect the natural materials from your body oils, perspiration and other soils which will help to extend the useful life of your pillow.
  • Always read the care label instructions prior to washing.
  • All our naturally-filled feather and down pillows are machine washable at 40°C in a large capacity machine.
  • All our wool pillows are machine washable at 30°C (wool cycle) in a large capacity machine.
  • Extra care should be taken if you wash your wool pillow as a whole.

  • Prior to use – Upon removal from your packaging you should shake your Mattress Topper for a few minutes. We recommend you allow it to air for 24hrs before use.
  • General Care
    • We recommend you protect your Mattress Topper with a natural mattress protector. If you do have any accidental spills then it is far easier to wash the mattress protector.
    • We recommend you give your mattress topper a good shake once a week.
    • We recommend you rotate your mattress topper once a week. This will allow the filling to redistribute and help it to bounce back.
    • Allow your bed to air daily.
